Rich The Kid Debuts New Single With Kodak Black & Speaks On Upcoming Album

Rich The Kid is back with a brand-new single that gives fans a glimpse into the cultural direction he's taking for his upcoming album.

On Friday, February 21, the 32-year-old artist released his song "Rain Snow" featuring Kodak Black via Rimas Entertainment. 'Yak holds down the hook while Rich reflects on hustling in the rain before he became an international superstar. In addition to the song, the New York native also teamed up with Kodak for the official music video. In an interview with 103.5 The Beat's DJ Bulletproof, Rich The Kid revealed he shot part of the music video with the Haitian-American rapper in Miami's Lil Haiti neighborhood.

"Shout out to Kodak," Rich said. "We had just did another song and then he just pretty much gave me ["Rain Snow"]. I was actually trying to figure out what song I was finna drop. I was at Kiki On The River and Kodak pulled up on a boat. He just randomly pulled up. I'm eating and I'm like 'Aint that Kodak right there?' He pulled up on me and he was like 'Bro when we dropping that song?' And I was like, 'Damn I need to drop that song.'"

Later in the discussion, Rich The Kid also revealed that the song is part of his upcoming album coming later this year. He said the follow-up to his Life's A Gamble LP will be a lot more diverse than any of his previous projects. Rich revealed that he has collaborations with various artists from all over the world including Quavo, J Balvin, Peso Pluma, Young Miko, Skillibeng, Ozuna, and more.
