Sexyy Red has become popular among some of the biggest names in music like Bruno Mars, Lady Gaga, Gucci Mane and more. Now she's revealing what it was like to work with the award-winning artists.
On Monday, March 24, Real 92.3's The Cruz Show debuted their latest interview with Big Sexyy following her performance at the 2025 iHeartRadio Awards with GloRilla. After they discussed her experience at the awards show, J Cruz brought up her new collaboration with the Silk Sonic singer "Fat, Juicy & Wet" and recalled how Cardi B said that Mars would coach her through her verse.
"That's what he was doing to me!" Sexyy said.
"He was on my bumper," she continued. "I'm like 'Bro I'm ready to go home.' He'll be there all night! He will be there all night on your heels but it's cool... I never got pushed like that before. This is new to me, so I was like 'I'ma just listen to him' and I took his advice."
Sexyy Red and Bruno Mars also got to work with Lady Gaga and Rosé of BLACKPINK for their song's official music video. The St. Louis native was vague about her conversations with Gaga behind the scenes, but still showed love to the "OG."
Afterward, DJ Lezlee asked Sexyy Red about her ideas for the ultimate girls night. Lezlee asked the rapper to pick any three celebrities to pull up at her house for a girls-only night. Without hesitation, she selected GloRilla, Summer Walker and Latto.
"I'm definitely gonna invite Glo for sure because Glo be turnt," she replied. "I'm definitely gonna invite Summer [Walker] 'cause Summer... she be turnt like when me and her get together, me and her can turn up together. We both Aries and we both shot out forreal but when we get together we be col and turnt. And Latto — she know how to have fun. Latto crazy!"
