SZA almost fell off stage during night one of her co-headlining Grand National Tour with Kendrick Lamar on Saturday (April 19).

According to E!News, the "Kill Bill" songstress was one step away from taking a tumble into the crowd but caught herself at the last minute. Video footage obtained by Pop Crave on X shows the icon lifting her leg to a dancer who had a sudden misstep. The dancer attempted to regain his footing as SZA planted her foot (the one that was not in the dancer's arms) onto the ground to avoid falling.

Despite being startled, the "Saturn" hitmaker did not miss a beat of "Diamond Boy" and carried on with the routine as if nothing happened. Things could have ended very differently if the star hadn’t reacted so quickly.

Fans commended SZA on her composure in the comment section of the post, remarking, "That recovery was smoother than most people’s entrances" and "Nice comeback!"

The standout has yet to comment on the incident.

SZA is slated to take the stage with K-Dot in Houston, Texas on Wednesday (April 23) as part of their next Grand National Tour show.
